You will need to have one of the following license options added to each Teams User that you want to connect to 2talk DirectoR. All licenses are to be purchase direct from Microsoft or a Microsoft partner.
- E1/E3 + Phone System module
or
- E5 as this comes with Phone System as part of the bundled package
Once you have the appropriate 0365 licence you simply need to add 2talk DirectoR.
There are two ways of making calls from MS Teams
- Microsoft Calling Plan
- Direct Routing
Direct Routing allows users of Microsoft Teams to make calls through a VoIP provider such as 2talk, rather than Microsoft. Microsoft Calling Plan is not currently available in NZ.
In the traditional Direct Routing model, customers would purchase, install and configure a Session Border Controller (SBC) from a Microsoft Certified partner. Once installed the SBC would then be connected to Microsoft Teams via SIP trunks and require maintenance and support.
Choosing 2talk as your supplier removes the need for any onsite SBC hardware as we offer Direct Routing as a Service and handle all the SBC requirements.
A DirectoR trunk can be added to any 2talk Business account. You will require a Trunk per tenant and minimum of 2 concurrent calls per enabled trunk.
Cost per concurrent call is $6 + GST
Standard 2talk pricing will apply for DDIs and Call Minutes.
